STG's joins the rank of Microsoft Gold Certified Partners in the ISV/Software Solutions and the Network Infrastructure Solutions competencies.
Santa Clara , February 2006. Software Technology Group, a leading provider of offshore software development services announced that it has achieved the highest level of Microsoft certification and has become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
Gold Certified Partners make up a small but fast-growing component of Microsoft's Partner Program. With roughly 362,000 partners registered in Microsoft's programs, the 7,000 Gold Certified Partners as of the end of January count for less than 2 percent of the total. But the ranks of Gold Certified Partners have doubled since the same time in 2005, when they numbered 3,500.
As the highest level of certification, the Gold certification requires a partner to offer a solution that has passed Microsoft compatibility testing and earn at least two Microsoft competencies. STG has achieved the ISV/Software Solutions as well as the Network Infrastructure Solutions competency. The ISV competency has been achieved on account of SmartLink, a web-based Learning and Content Management System that has been verified by VeriTest ( www.veritest.com ) to run on the Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005 platform.
